Fabrication Technician

To be trained on one or more of the following machines such as cutoff saws, CNC and standard shears and brakes, rollers, presses, forming machines, CNC and standard Whitney punching machines, and CNC plasma & punch machines, belt, bench, and hand held grinders that cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures.

Ability to read and understand blueprint. General knowledge of grinding tools and miscellaneous hand tools for metal working. Ability to work safely at all times. Have previous forklift experience in a manufacturing plant environment.  High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have good mechanical ability.  Good attendance, and a willingness to learn.
