Key Technology Appoints Teri Johnson as Fresh-Cut Industry Marketing Manager
January 29, 2008 – Key Technology announces the promotion of Teri Johnson to the new position of Fresh-Cut Industry Marketing Manager. Johnson is responsible for planning and managing activities that enable fresh-cut processors worldwide to experience the greatest value in utilizing Key’s automated inspection, specialized conveying, product preparation systems, and world-class service.
“Key has participated in the industry since the baby-whole carrot boom in the 1990s. Today, we’re really focused on the entire fresh-cut industry. Fresh-cut processors are concerned with food safety, product quality, shelf life, and labor, and our technology addresses all of these challenges simultaneously. It’s a perfect fit,” noted John Boutsikaris, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Key. “Teri is focused on helping fresh-cut customers produce products more efficiently by improving the value of our existing technology and developing new processing solutions.”
Johnson has been with Key for 24 years. Prior to this promotion, she was the Product Marketing Manager responsible for Key’s Smart Shaker® vibratory conveyors. Previously, she held a number of positions at Key including Systems Engineer, Sales Engineering Manager, Service Manager, VP/GM Automated Inspection Systems, and Sales & Marketing Support Director. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from Oregon State University, and has completed the California Institute of Technology’s Program for Technology Marketing.
