Electromagnetic Drives

The efficient electromagnetic drives featured on Key’s Impulse™ vibratory shakers enable precise metering and gentle product handling while minimizing maintenance and maximizing product quality. 

Within the electromagnetic drive, power is applied to a pair of magnets.  The north and the south pole of each magnet is aligned north-to-south to ensure proper functionality without heat build-up and magnet burnout.

There are no sliding or rotating parts to wear and no belts or bearings to fail.  Electromagnetic drives are oil-free, which helps insure food safety and product quality, particularly when installed above product zones.
