Upright Length Sizer

The Upright Length Sizer (ULS) is designed to separate product by length removing short potatoes and transferring long potatoes to the Potato Halver for crosswise cutting or other processes for over-length potaoes. Product shorter than the set width will fall into the pockets of the vertical conveyor and be lifted and discharged out at a 90° angle from the product flow.

Product longer than the set width will discharge off the end of the feed conveyor.

The pocket widths are adjustable and multiple lengths can be sized on one machine.
